One of our goals at FLON is to empower and equip teens, young adults and adults with the personal development tools necessary to break through self-imposed limitations.
Future Leaders Outreach Network has utilized Unlocking Your Potential since 2004 that has enormous energy and technical effort that was superbly produced for young people, who desire to go to college, trade school, corporate employment, entrepreneurship or who may be unsure about their future career after graduating from high school.
The lesson includes but is not limited to: Self-esteem, self-worth, self-awareness, potential and more.
Parents and educators, today more than ever, need effective tools to help students become more purposeful and self-directed in an increasing and rapidly changing world.
They need effective tools to provide students hope, motivation and inspiration to reach high and achieve great things in life.
They also need tools that help students understand that they are beautiful and unique just the way they are, helping them develop healthy self-esteem to combat the often negative pressures of the culture. UYP will help your students develop strong self-confidence that will create a foundation for healthy achievement as well as healthy emotional development.
FLON teach excerpts from the 14-unit, video-assisted program. Students will discover the ingredients, which make up a person’s potential. They will find out how great achievers became successful, and how their techniques and systems can work for anyone.
Students will become better self-managers and self-initiators. They will gain a greater sense of purpose, direction and a commitment to being the “best person they can be.” UYP is an exciting adventure in life skills training.
Since 1984, thousands of students have been positively impacted by the principles and concepts in our UYP process. This is not “flash-in-the-pan,” unproven technology. UYP has been refined over the past decade, and those using this new version tell us “Unlocking Your Potential” has made a great learning experience even greater!
As we lay the foundation for self-management, personal accountability and teaching you how to empower yourselves to reach new heights of effectiveness in every area of your life, you will over a period of time transition from adolescent to adulthood.
Potential is having or showing the capacity to become or develop into something in the future. It is your latent qualities or abilities that may be developed and lead to future success or usefulness.
Effectiveness is the degree to which something is successful in producing a desired result; success. Effectiveness is determined without reference to costs and, whereas efficiency means, “doing the thing right,” effectiveness means, “doing the right thing.”
